Shouldn't you put that in your own thread?
EDIT: Ah, right, I see you did.

Fifth, yes, more stuff! The jumping without the tounge out does look a bit wierd. But I'd rather see more stuff than a fix for such a small detail. And if a great game is created with your assets, I'm guessing you could be convinced to fix minor details ' If you would be interested, I could supply you with a Flash-animation-test. I just have a really small test, where you run around with the dog. It just shows how the animations translate into eachother.

Looks great! I love the idea of him picking up and holding something. I think the picking up animation only looks like hurling because it's in a loop. Any chance we could see a modified version of that biting-down animation for a biting-forward animation that we could use as a biting attack? Either way, I'm totally brainstorming on how I can be using this. Thanks so much! --clint

Hrm... That grabbing animation on loop kinda looks like he's throwing up, huh?
Not really, when it's not looped. I don't imagine games would allow the player to continually attempt to pick up nothing from the ground.

No, no attacks. Make it a happy forward bite . Happy, happy, happy. Also, how about a jumping over a fence animation. The fence should be say.. 2-3 times his height, and not very wide. Hey, you could even split it up into parts so that jumping up and down anything would look great. You'd need firstly a pushing himself up the wall and secondly a sharp head-first (well... front legs first) fall. You probably know what I mean, I can't describe it too well... Cats do it, but why can't this dog do it too!

Mm, I think I know what you're talking about, but that might be a bit too much to animate right now. Anyway: biting! He kinda means business here. No friendly biting, sorry. And a bark, which should make the barking sounds a little more useful.

Wow Fifth, this is so incredibly cool. My only hope at this point is that I can make a game that would do these sprites justice.

These are cool!
Might there be a "drag" animation loop right after bite? So the dog's chomped into something and is pulling it backwards?

Hey, good idea! ...Though maybe I should have tilted the head a bit more, to hide the lower jaw...?

I can't tell -- in the biting-and-holding animations, is there a ball in his mouth?
If so, can we get that rubber ball as being separate?

Howling it is. This may be the last thing I can make for this. Although I'd still at least like to make a few things for him to carry in his mouth. ...And, uh, maybe make actual tilesets instead of just the animations. Hm.

These are so incredibly cool. I don't know if I'll be able to sleep at night if I don't manage to get these sprites into my game in some fun fashion. They're so good, I just have a hard time seeing me do them justice. I intend to give it a shot though.

...Added spritesheet versions. I hope this is an acceptable update, even if a little late.
