Hello, I'll post music for the competition here. Enjoy

Zipped Album:
Jorge Boscan - 8Bit Rock
Just zipped and organized the songs I think that could work together in a game from the tracks I summited.

List of Songs submitted:
Quote
Very Rock Styled song with a little EXTRA flavor. Split into Intro and Loop, so the Intro just plays once.
Suggestion: Intro, Action Cut scene, Action Platformer.
Entry 1 - Black Frames Intro MP3 or  Entry 1 - Black Frames Intro OGG
and
Entry 1 - Black Frames Loop MP3 or  Entry 1 - Black Frames Loop OGG

This one is more experimental, using some Indian, Chinese and experimental instruments.
Suggestion: RPG Asian Worldmap, Platform Forest Stage, Some Weird City.
Entry 2 - Ethnic Pleasure MP3 or  Entry 2 - Ethnic Pleasure OGG

Also made this one experimenting with industrial sfx and some synths, it's kinda like the Magitek Factory song from Final Fantasy 6.
Suggestion: Factory Stage, Really Dark Evil Place, Volcano/Lava Stage, Last Stage, Inside Airship Engine/Giant Robot Engine.
Entry 3 - MagnaFactory MP3 or  Entry 3 - MagnaFactory OGG

This one is an orchestrated piece. It's currently unfinished. Could be used in some battle sequence.
Suggestion: RPG Battle.
Entry 4 - Determination

This one is the same style as Entry 1, though more chippy siddy stuff in the mix. It's perfectly looped.
Suggestion: Action Platformer, Shmup.
Entry 5 - First Encounter MP3 or  Entry 5 - First Encounter OGG

Well, just after finishing Entry 6, just sat down in my piano, and started some free playing over the minimalistic chord progression on this track, and this is how it sounded. Really calm minimalistic track with some piano improvisation.
Suggestion: Beach Scene, Sad Scene, Wind Scene, Peaceful time, Reflection.
Entry 6 - Between Mirrors MP3 or  Entry 6 - Between Mirrors OGG

I had a fun time sequencing this one. For a fun time or an easy comical level this one will do. Mix of jazz/rock, and 8 bit. Really happy song.
Suggestion: Platformer, Happy time, Comedy Scene, Comedian Merchant/Shop Screen.
Entry 7 - Flying Balloon MP3 or  Entry 7 - Flying Balloon OGG

Just realized there aren't many Stage Clear tracks, so I made one myself.
Suggestion: Stage Clear.
Entry 8 - Stage Clear MP3 or  Entry 8 - Stage Clear OGG

Another short track for Death-Game Over screen.
Suggestion: Player Death, Fail, Game Over.
Entry 9 - Game Over Man MP3 or  Entry 9 - Game Over Man OGG

Wanted some track without a real melody playing along, just pure Evil rhythmic haha.
Suggestion: Fortress/Castle Level, Marching Troops Scene, Dungeon, Platformer, Old-School FPS, Antagonist Scene.
Entry 10 -  Abraxas Fortress MP3 or  Entry 10 - Abraxas Fortress OGG

List of SFX or 8-Bit sounds:
Quote
This is an Affirmative Responding sound.
SFX1 - OK1
Same as SFX1, but an octave lower.
SFX2 - OK2
This is a really cheap fanfare, I was just playing around while making entry 5.
SFX3 - Fanfare
More affirmative sound.
SFX4 - OK3
More affirmative sound.
SFX5 - OK4
Negative sound.
SFX6 - No
Another negative sound.
SFX7 - No

I love it Smiley The crazy flange-glitchy intro reminds me of Flywrench for some reason. The rest reminds me of Mega Man X and kinda Castlevania-ish :D The 8-bit part's awesome.

I liked the one with the ethnic instruments.  I'd love to know what software/sample libraries you used.

I used SonicCouture's Guzheng and Pan Drum with some downloaded samples I found searching on the web. The synth are from Omnisphere.

Very professional.  Well, hello there!

Thanks man  Smiley

Sounds suitably epic enough for a boss battle theme or such.

Added Entry 7, I had a lot of fun with this one. Quite funny and happy song.

Edit: Added suggestions for the songs, also added names to them so i stop calling them by their numbers. Looped all Tracks except Entry 4 Destination which needs more work.

Entry 8 - Stage Clear added. I have not seen any Stage Clear assets neither Music nor Sprites. So here's my contribution. Cheers.  Beer!

Why are you wasting your time not getting paid for this music? It's simply too good.

Haha, thanks for the comment, but I haven't had that kind of opportunity. Though is not a waste of time, it keeps me creative and I can contribute to the indie community.  Beer!

Added Entry 9 - Game Over Man, also realized that there's no Game Over track, so here is one.

Edit:
Added Entry 10 - Abraxas Fortress, just letting some evilness out of my system hehe. Well not SO EVIL but I like it that way.
Enjoy.  Gentleman
