Yeah, er... the way I read the rules, I think this means that none of those sprites are eligible for the contest, unless you started and abandonded this project within the last couple of days (all work has to be done after the start of the contest is announced). Which is a real pity, becuase there's a lot of really nice stuff there  |

Yeah, assets are only eligible if you made them after the start of the compo.

Such a shame to see so many good graphics assets go to waste though. I was looking forward to seeing what people could do with these.

I'm sure someone will use them for a non-competition project. They're too good to waste. I'm very much hoping that all the assets people submit for this competition are left up in the new year for the good of all TIGkind in the future. It could be the start of a super-cool library of free stuff. |

Sorry guys I will work on some more you can use though, if you want to use them outside the comp on another game i'm all fine with that as well  Which parts from the original image did you guys see yourselves wanting to use? I could redesign and re-pixel them if you want. |

I know that at least applies to the big image of sprites that is explicitly labeled as coming from a now-defunct game project, but I didn't know if it applied to the two images that were displayed on the front post (the tileset and the font). --clint |
