Here's the development weblog for my indie, puzzle game that is being released before Christmas on any cell-phone compatible with the Android.

http://blorb.tumblr.com/

The game will feature 60+ compelling levels, interesting gameplay dynamics for solving the puzzles (such as a hologram that can be made at any time that acts as a second character and a launchpad which can release a small animal to sit on switches), and charming graphics and sound, all for a modestly inexpensive price.

At the moment the the graphics are placeholders until I can find an artist who will work for a reasonable price to redo them.

Any suggestions to make for an interesting game, or anything you'd like to see?

How about explaining how the game works? Smiley

I read a bit about it on your blog, but honestly, I got lost pretty quickly.

It's awesome to see Indie work on the Android now.

Yeah, sorry if it's a little cryptic. Basically it's a box-pusher puzzle game, but there's a few interesting game dynamics. For one, the player can create a hologram of himself that won't die by some of the things that would kill the player, and vice versa, some things kill the hologram, but not the player. So, you'll have to use your brain to figure out some of the puzzles.

There's going to be 60+ puzzles in order from easiest to hardest (with some of them needing to be unlocked). Most of them involve figuring out what holes to fill with boxes, or what switches to put the boxes on, or when to use your hologram and other mechanics.

There's a few other gameplay dynamics, which i won't go into yet. One of which is a little animal thing that can be deployed from certain 'launch-pads' that works like the mice in chu-chu rocket, except on their third collision with a wall they stop moving. So, you can use them to fill in holes, or to step on switches if you set up the objects in the level right.

I think that mostly covers it. Let me know if that's still hard to understand, I didn't have much time to write this post.
