Oh man. :D This smiley accurately predicts what I did when I saw that. Except with less squinting. :D :D Also, not sure if I mentioned it, but I love your drawings, and you're quite excellent at conveying form with your sketches. (penis form)

I dunno, your trees to me seem less organic and more rocky. Still pretty kick ass though.

I prefer the knotty, hard-edged, somewhat rock-like trees. I mean, rounded trees are just so boring, you don't get all the neat shadows and highlights and stuff.

Agreed. If I'm going to draw something we see a million times a day, I feel obligated to inject some style into it, you know?

I can dig that. As an artist, I can't muster up enough motivation to do a true life drawing-I have to exaggerate a little, or maybe add a rocket-launcher arm. You may as well be taking a photo, otherwise.

Thats so like games lith. We have the possibility to create something unique and awsome, yet we merely mimic reality. Such a waste imo.

Yes. I agree with Siiseli.
Lith's art direction gives me a lot of expectations for the next flashbang game. I also hope said game runs better on my comp than Raptor Safari

I definitely agree with both Camdag and siiseli. Totally right, this game developing world of ours needs a lot more exaggeration in it's art or whatever you would call not going for realism.

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED THE IDEA OF A CERTAIN SPACE FARING SUPER RACE...
A SUPER RACE THAT MAKE EVEN THE LARGEST OF STARS LIKE MARBLES IN THEIR WAKE...
A SUPER RACE OF SPACE WHALES?
They sift planets like plankton through their massive breen. JETPACK BRONTOSAURUS' ARCH NEMESIS PERHAPS.

Thanks for putting your art in my art dump, Golds. No, that's all good, whatever. I appreciate you putting your foot down on the whole baleen vs. breen thing, Adam. I was seriously about to. I might do some steam-punk stuff very soon, Shoot-em-upper, if you put away that SASS MOUTH of yours. I like most of you, stay surreal. Here are the environmental assets from Off-Road Velociraptor Safari. These are the maps I made for the terrain geometry. This is the skybox you see. In the sky. And of course there is the logo you see splattered across everything. Easily one of the most enjoyable logos I've ever created. There are a few other things I was completely responsible for, but it's not really practical showing them off (i.e. particle effects, HUD elements, interface art, etc.).

I'm glad you guys like. Concept art for Jetpack Brontosaurus. Lith's Weapon Dump Random weirdness. I like the floating battle islands. Dog serpent? Concept art for game idea I have. Most of this was done at the GDC 2008 Art Jam. Animation/mechanic concepts for said game idea.

Those look great! They weren't broken images at all there, oh no. I like the dog serpent. I think more things should have dogs in them.
