How are you gentlemen.  Gentleman

Some tracks first:

Discontinuity

EveryoneKnowsIt

Hunted

Logjumping

RainTomb

Two versions of this one - maybe two boss states or something:
HopeYouBroughtHelp1
HopeYouBroughtHelp2

Here are some backgrounds.

Each of the layers is independently horizontally loopable, as seen in this demo jpg:

The idea is that not all the layers necessarily need to be used at the same time, but any of them can be used together, hopefully for some sweet parallax effects.

The full PSDs are available under the jpegs. Other formats available upon request.

I give you Futurecop:

Sprite Sheet:

Enemy drone and some more FX:

Hunter and some scaffolding tiles:

Beautiful!  Paralaxed backgrounds like this can come in handy quite a bit.

Any chance we could see some alternate layers to put in? (such as different colored skies -- daytime, night, etc?)

Damn! There are so many nice assets available. I may just have to make more than one game.

I'd love to see more enemies and some good tile sets!

Thanks! I'll see what I can do. The hour is growing somewhat late for this compo.

I'd just like to say, I'm a big fan of your music.  It reminds me of the Beyond the Mind's Eye music by Jan Hammer.

Also those parallax backgrounds will come in handy :D

Awesome tunes man! That first one especially really sucked me in.
Nice cityscape too, and gun designs!

Wow, loving the tracks! Nice and laid-back, with a lot of polish, and they sound like they would blend quite nicely.

You've got some serious talent, and have made me want to check out the rest of your work. ;-)

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Here's another track. I'm putting up two versions of it, so maybe they can be used as two states of a boss or something.

HopeYouBroughtHelp1
HopeYouBroughtHelp2

Should be more pics tonight or tomorrow morning.

As requested, day and night versions of the previous mix-n-match parallax background. The jpegs are just low-res demos, but the PSDs are big (1600x1200), same as the first one.

This is likely the last track I'll put up for the compo, but there are still some more pics coming.

Hello this is Pencerkoff

Anyone able to make this a reality in a game gains 10 Pencerkoff points.  Diving onto guns should be a sport.
