I just wanted to say, that has to be some of the most delicious-looking pixel cake and ice cream I've ever seen. Will download and comment on gameplay later.  :D

This is probably the best PC game I've played in weeks.  I keep replaying it to get a better high score.  Right now I think I'm at 2.5 million.

AuthenticKaizen: I've gotten that error before if something happens to the .dlls. I'm not sure of any other explanations for it, but I could just be ignorant. Does anyone know what else might cause it?

--EDIT--

I should have done this before; I'm going to throw a check in before initializing the .dlls that should allow you to run the game (albeit without sound or the configuration file) even if there is an error with the .dll. Sorry about the inconvenience, everyone; should have it up by the end of the day.

I've tried to address everyone's concerns with the last version. I didn't go through and add checks to each sound effect, but if either of the .dlls fails to initialize, you'll at least get a message letting you know which one it was. I imagine redownloading should fix it. As far as the respawn controls: you can move side to side, but you can't go forward and back, due to the newfound ability to cheat your way through a wizard's forcefield if that ability was allowed. Plus, it looked dumb.

There are three secrets in the game now. One is only available to those of you who have managed to eat at least one of each wizard, so save your settings files.

Currently in the submission process. More news as it happens people!

RELIVE THE PAST HERE!

Holy fuck. This game is so awesome.

I really like the colors you used, and the graphics. The gameplay seemed so polished and had plenty of variety. I really like the concept in general, as well.

I had a bit of trouble distinguishing the lava from the edible blocks, which caused a few deaths, and the grid-based movement seemed sort of awkward, but I got used to it. Overall, it's a FRIGGEN' GREAT GAME. How can a game with gigantic worms eating planets NOT be good?

ALTERNATIVELY:
I hate when that happens.

WE NEED MORE PLANET EATING GAMES
THIS WILL ONLY SATIATE MY HUNGER FOR A SHORT TIME

at least the graphics are sweet

OH MY GOODNESS IT'S TOTALLY A GAME WHERE I EAT PLANETS.

this is magical

Also, your phone without buttons can do this now. Built into your dang Sony phone Android OS!

Magic Planet Snack Deluxe will either be out the same day as Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen or the Deadly Premonition Director's cut. Niether are bad company to be in when releasing games on Playstation platforms.

It was just some limitations in PSM (specifically the audio handling stuff) that pushed the game back a while. We're not too worried about that any more.  Who, Me?
