And has been for over a week, but this is for those that didn't notice and still have WHFF links on their threads.
Those of you that use WHFF for host your files, USE SOMETHING ELSE.
And do it now, cause today the deadline ends.
Also, I apologize I didn't create this thread sooner, but I don't use that host and nobody mentioned it to me until very recently.

I never got to use that host, seemed to be a pretty awesome one too. Losing hosting options sucks.

I just PMed the affected with this, so that their email notifications go off or whatever: GROUP MESSAGESEND! I am PMing you dudes because some or all of your Assemblee files are hosted at Will Host For Food, which has gone down. This character recommends that you upload your stuff somewhere else. For such a short competition as this, a temporary file-host like Megaupload should do fine. Hop to it! They're allowed to reupload even after the deadline, right? It would be lame for them to be disqualified for not paying attention to the Internet.

Yes, they're allowed to reupload the stuff they already had on their threads, just not new stuff nobody had seen up until that point (unless they finished it right at the deadline or soemthing. Nothing is that strict around here).

Re-uploaded my stuff. For good free hosting I recommend dropbox.com. It does make you install software, but it looks pretty light and non-spywarey.

And it's not just for hosting, either.

You can use the online interface, you don't need to install anything at all (But it beats the point of using dropbox I think)

Yeah, but compared to just 'dropping' files onto a folder with the installed program, using the online interface is several kinds of cumbersome. It's still a ton better than most I've seen, but I prefer the program itself.

I use both, since that means I can dump stuff in the folder on my laptop and then mess with it at work, where I can't install anything (and thus have to work in MSPaint ). Also, they give you absurd amounts of space and the permanent links are pretty intuitive, which beats Imageshack's random-string-of-alphanumeric-characters pretty handily.

Wikipedia disagrees. It is rather a crapshoot to get started, though.
