The mushrooms aren't hard to kill, guys.  Shoot at them, turn around (they only go after you when you're not looking), and they'll get hit.  Turn back toward them and repeat.

I didn't even realise you can kill them - but you can navigate through them pretty easy without taking damage, if you keep your guy looking at them.

I saved after the boss, then went outside and died intentionally (wanted to conserve a heart).  Afterwards, it restarts at the boss, but kitty is stuck in a wall...  So I'll have to start from the beginning.

I'll save the save file if you want a look at it.

What a gret short thrill of a game. I would happily see this expanded into an ENORMOUS game but then again there's loads of stuff I would happily see done.

Congratulations this was great.

And the humour, graphics, level and monstor design and general though through the whole thing was superb.

Brilliant!

Indeed! Really nice game, pgil. My favorite of the compo so far (but I didn't check all others out yet, cause my internet was down for a while...). It's quite big Shocked, and feels complete and consistent, not like patchwork of many different findings... Really well done.
My Word!

But I also encountered a bug... after entering that dungeon under the small town, I went back to the previous checkpoint. After saving, the game suddenly crashed, and did again after I tried to restart/continue. Too bad I didn't save the log message...
But I'll try again...
