What is it?
Tipoli is a physics platformer built for the iPhone that follows the story of Mint and Periwinkle as they search for love.  Originally a game produced as a result of the Global Game Jam, the iPhone version represents the culmination of three student's work over the course of five months.  Gameplay is entirely driven by a single button that allows the player to "switch" Mint and Periwinkle's position.  Because Periwinkle is always bouncing and Mint is a sticky fellow, swapping the two allows the player to navigate complex terrain and overcome tricky obstacles by walking, climbing, or bouncing their way to the finish.  The iPhone release features 60+ levels and 3-5 hours of gameplay.

Where can I get it?
You can purchase a copy here for $.99

Why should we care?
When I showed off TIPOL, the original PC version that came out of the Global Game Jam, to the TIG community, a lot of you were incredibly supportive of what our team created.  It's the support of people like you that drove us to actually form our own company and try and get a more polished game out there.  We're quite proud of how far we've come and have submitted the game to the IGF Mobile contest; hopefully we'll do well there.   Beer!

Yeah, I played Tipol last night for the first time.  I gotta say it was a pretty interesting mechanic.  I remember you mentioning that you added "physics-like" objects to make the levels more...haphazard I suppose.

Sounds neat!  It's another game listed on my "if I ever get an iPhone list."

Man, this is getting to be a long list...  Facepalm

I'd write a devlog about my current game, but I'm too busy making it.

Well Tipoli is really similar to the TwinSpin series (except Tipoli has gravity)
