Will do! Oh um what's their email?
It's here: For more information about Kokoromi or GAMMA 4, contact Cindy Poremba at [email protected].

Now that the deadline has passed is there any reason we shouldn't have a public release of our games? I really want some feedback on mine, it's already posted on my website but I haven't actually told anyone about it yet...

The only reason really is that they said something along the lines of "the less public information/screens/etc available the more likely a game is to be chosen because they want to have a 'grand unveiling' at GDC" obviously rather than people saying "oh it's that game again. I remember that from a month or two ago..." LOL

yeah it's up to you,
but we wont say which ones we picked until the event. we want a surprises.
if your game is selected, and you release it now, it will severely reduce the impact it would have had at the event.
but it's up to you.

Wait, how can you make travel arrangements to use your GDC pass if you don't know you were picked. I assume the ones that get picked will be informed but are supposed to keep it a secret...

Hehe, judging 154 games in 1 day sounds like a tough task.

I figured, but I dont think I'm the only one chomping at the bit for updates and checking mail every 5 minutes. I actually prefer they take their time though and not be worn/stressed out when playing any of the entries.

Hopefully the losers can be notified by e-mail that their submission wasn't selected, just to make sure nobody's left hanging in suspense. A quick, easy form letter, just so you know you're one of the many, instead of the few, and can get on with your life.

Yes I certainly hope the entrants at least are notified which group they are in - the sucessfuls, or the try-again-next-years.

It would be nice if you could at least let the losers know directly, so they can release their games if they want to. If you don't select my game, I don't want to just sit on it for a month. But I'm happy to keep it secret if it does get selected.

jesus people, there are 154 games and only 4 of us! give us some time! we'll let everybody know when make a decision.
and we dont just add numeric values and figure out which games are the best. this is a curated art event, and that means LOTS of arguing and debating over which games should make it in. we only use a YES or NO system. heather gave a clear NO to my favorite game so far. now i have to convince her its awesome and should be in.
this is why this is gonna take more than 2 days.
