Looks like it's gone up to £279 which is

beds * nights = (8*3) + (8*4) + (4*5) = 76

(£279) / (76) = £3.67 a night.

Still good.

£11 for a 3 night stay
£14.68 for a 4 night stay
£18.36 for a 5 night stay

I might have to pay a £25 group membership which would put the prices up to £12, £16 and £20 exactly at £4 a night.


There is now no need to get a YHA pass when you get to the hostel.

Current plan is to generally book from the 14th until the 17th inclusive, but if there are enough people who are arriving late/early we'll sort that out as well.

Me and Hideous arrive on the 14th, in Stansted at 22:10 or something like that.

We then depart on the 19th, but we can most likely sort the last night out ourselves in case no one else stays. And booking should be until the 18th, since that's when the jam ends.

My current plan is to come over on the 17th and leave on the 18th.  Unless something really convenient happens to work out (like, say, someone's leaving on the 17th) then it's probably easier for me to just arrange things for myself.  I can book a room just for that night, or find a park bench or something.

I plan to arrive at roughly the same time as Hideous and Lifesnoozer, although I'm flexible. A letter I should get in 3-4 days is going to decide whether I can come at all though, but I'll let everyone know asap.

I'm booking this today - not many people have said when they will be arriving/departing. Some people are arriving Friday so I'm only booking one room from the Thursday.

I'll be arriving on the 15th, and going to have to leave on the 18th in the morning (3 nights).

OK I have booked and paid for the following rooms:

6-beds - 15th to 18th, 3 nights

8-beds - 14th to 18th, 4 nights

It costs £5.50 a night given what I paid for the rooms, and if you are not a YHA member you will need to buy a year's membership for £10 when you get there or face paying an extra £3 a night (so those staying for 3 nights only may want to save £1 and not get membership).

Check in is from 2pm but they can hold your bags if you get there earlier.

I will update the first post with who is in which room. Please post to reserve a place in a room so we can resolve any anomalies quickly.
