Hi people at TIG,
I'm new here and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm the man behind the Monkey Odyssey project and I am one of those people born in the eighties that lived his childhood when videogames were at their best. So that's why I'm trying to keep a retro feeling in all of my creations.

It's about a month that my latest project is up and running, and I hope you will enjoy it.

HiRoads is a SkyRoads remake. I don't consider it a real remake, because the gameplay is a little different and you control a ball instead of a spaceship.
Anyway the game features 27 unique levels, nice old school gfx and 9 chip music tracks. The goal is to drive the ball safely to the end tunnel of the roads.

The game is playable here http://www.hiroads.com/game.php.
By registering an account you can also join the community, use the level editor and share your creations with other users as well as play theirs.
Every level can be rated, commented and favorited to better manage searches.
The site is integrated with facebook connect, so users' actions can be posted on facebook wall and friends can be involved in it.
At the moment hiroads.com features 628 registered users and 177 custom made levels.

Here you can find a gameplay trailer

.

I hope that people that enjoyed the old classic Skyroads will enjoy this version and will make it grows fast.

It looks pretty cool, I do admit, and I am a massive Skyroads fan, but you've got competition.

Although I have to say, yours looks closer to the spirit of the original.
