Oryx is going to love you for using his walls. Heck, I love you for it too.

Thanks for the comments The first Alpha version is out now. Nothing big: all you can do for now is to move around and watch your map. I got still so much to do... I think I have to hurry a bit. Download Alpha1 (Windows only )

Looking good, although some form of compass would be nice, so you know which way you're facing.

I'm making a good progress. I was planning to release another alpha but since the game is almost ready I don't see the point. Instead here's a pic:

Nice job! Story held no surprises but was still quite enjoyable. I found the combat mechanics a little tweaky, and monsters not following me around corners was a bit exploitable. But the story is the main element, and was handled well.
Congratulations on finishing!

Just finished this. Very nice. Reminded me of an obscure iPhone game I played recently called "Am I a hero?".

A neat little story and a fairly enjoyable game. A couple of small typos but nothing that distracts. Nice work.

Liked: I'm a big fan of Eye of the Beholder and Dungeon Master so liked this one. I liked the simplicity too, move and fight, what else do you need.
Disliked: The story is cringe-worthy. Didn't like having to keep switch to the map screen, a mini-map would have been nice.
Conclusion: Really fun if you skip the story bits.
