The forum seems to be having a lot of problems recently. What's the deal?

The Great Cataclysm is the first sign of the Indie Apocalypse. Nobody knows what the other signs are, though.

I suppose it's the fact that there is always alot of people on the boards. TIGS is a victim of its own success Or it's a squirrel with a chainsaw who decided to cut off some wires.

Or it's a squirrel with a chainsaw who decided to cut off some wires. ... Do you want to move this topic to "Art and Design" or should we just start a new one? :D

The problem was my topic of the Best of '07. I dare not update it again.

Careful, it might still be around... :D Yeah, enough silliness from my behalf. I got a question related to the topic. Why is there so much guests checking the BEST FREEWARE GAME or something thread? Was it linked or something?

I think someone should register the domain www.tigbork.com as a redirect for whenever the forums are down. And then fill it with shitty Flash match-3 games. (as an incentive to keep the forums working, of course)

I think it's "When single shines the triple sun" or something.

Was it linked or something? Blame stumble upon. I got referred twice even though I am a member of the TIGS boards.

It was linked from StumbleUpon, Kotaku and Metafilter and kinda spread like a virus after that.

I'll talk to Jeff about it. In the long term, I'm thinking of possibilities. The site's obviously growing, and I want to make sure it's stable. There are a lot of different factors involved!

Hmm... I thought EA would buy TIGS instead, then plaster the walls with ads for their games but taking down the website is also a plausible idea

Make sure to take your time when you're setting up the new capacity. You don't want to screw up and make mistakes at this juncture, or you won't be able to get them back out of the site code for a decade.
