Pencerkoff also has some good bomb boxes too.

I didn't even notice your stuff ETG  Embarrassed. I think you might have exactly what I want for a background.

I got this through my first attempt to utilise the link leech, but now it seems to be gone (perhaps due to host going offline), so i re-uploaded it. And it is a great set of sprites too.

Tocky says it's out, so it's out. So maybe....

@sos rhysd made that but pulled it down, because it wasn't made for the compo.

These should definitely get used, they are great!

I'm planning on using some of these.  We'll see how it goes though.

This guy posted a rather complete assets pack, with gui icons, backgrounds, a lot of characters with a lot of anims each, etc... looks very useful, check it out  GentlemanHand Metal Right

Has anyone seen a horseshoe-style magnet? Around 8x8px or so?

Nope, closest I can think of is a crescent-shape thing that oddball has in one of his spritesheets.

Excellent. I look forward to your game then. Good on you purposefully using assets that aren't being used much.  Smiley Hand Thumbs Up Right

as you can see this is the other problem with tigsource. theres a wealth of graphics and music here but no programmers. if you have a programmer friend bring them here. if you are an artist or a musician learn to write code. daniel shiffman will help you

also dudes like oddball who are dicks. if you cant learn to write code its ok

oddball: I'm not actually making a game, sorry if this is misleading. I'm listing this stuff here to draw attention to it.
I know. I was subtly implying that you should take these fine assets and put them to good use. Wink

as you can see, this reply was not subtle and also not useful

as you can see, it misunderstands the need for an assemblee in the first place

art to those that need it. code to those that need it.

this was supposed to be the place for these ideas.

Wait, are you calling me a dick over something I said 6 years ago?! I was just trying to encourage you to make games. I even put a thumbs up smiley on the end and everything.  Grin Hand Thumbs Up Right

sorry oddball you're probably not even a dick.

you can see it is a common thread that i do not like being told to make a game when i'm already been doing something constructive that should be done that noone else is doing. making games is hard, and acts are not virtuous or not virtuous based strictly on whether or not they are making games.

being like 'if youre not making a game youre not doing anything' is pretty shitty.

as you can see, this isnt subtle at all, and need not have been said. appearing nice while you say something shitty isnt the same as actually being nice.

and lets not forget there was no shortage of people using your assets during the competition, so lets not pretend coming in here and being smug about it isnt double super extra shitty.

maybe you're an okay person though i dont really know you.

Ok I seem to have rubbed you up the wrong way so I'll leave you be. I just wanted you to know that there was no malice intended in my comments. I was genuinely encouraging you to make games as I do, and will continue to do, with everyone.

everybody uses 'go make a game' on here to mean 'go get fucked' so like if you don't mean that you should probably stop saying it
