bad timing to post  page is already over @inca I mean seriously, so smooth some spots dont even look like pixel art! plus it looks super cool! Anyway im working on a new style for my game character (that adorable guy in my avatar) heres my latest iteration. I think its decent pixel art. any tips?   P.S. I hope my first sentence doesn't strike the ego of others and make them all try to impress  |

 now in lemon, cherry, watermelon and orange flavors! and @Joh, that hair looks pretty nicely done. I'd suggest working for some more depth to the rest of the body though, maybe shade the cheeks of the face or add a bit more shadow to the overall body? also maybe ears, unless it's a style thing. |

You have to know when you hit something, right?  It pops every time a bullet land on something. It's displayed with a random 90° rotation to avoid repetitiveness. Nothing impressive, but it does the job. |

Make it super fast in the beginning and then have it slow down, it'll give it more of a "flash" effect.
