Doing an LP on YouTube of An Untitled Story. Most of my viewers don't seem to get what makes it special, at least not yet... It's hard to get the full experience to come through in video form. Still, I'm enjoying playing through it again!

iirc the micro is the only GBA that doesn't run GB/C games.
link's awakening is my fave zelda.
second Third. Something about the Ballad of the Wind Fish get me every time. Fourth. And thanks for the album link Mono - I'm enjoying it a lot so far. Fifth. Got up to 31 regular cubes and 17 anticubes, with all artifacts. Figured out how the numbers and letters worked, but was hinted by a friend with the letters. that room that reveals it is seriously clever. Is that the "insane side"? Trying a little Torchlight 2. Game is easymodo for ranged units, especially engineer+cannon, even on its hardest difficulty. Champions and bosses just take a long time to get down. Not sure how you could do highest difficulty with melee unless you did optional things much later sixth

No one seemed to give it a chance. Lots of talk about it on Idle Thumbs.

No one seemed to give it a chance. Lots of talk about it on Idle Thumbs. Seems like a perfect game for that show. It seems like it's only really fun with geographically close friends to be dastardly to each other. Could be interesting though.

I found it pretty boring tbh. Too shallow to justify the length, defender advantage often causes the game to stall.

Yeah, it seems to be designed around at least one player afk turtling and letting the other players think they can blitz early on and develop tech simultaneously, which never happens.
Anyone know any similar multiplayer games?

This is Night Watch isn't it? If so, is it any good? I read the book and enjoyed it. I just finished up Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Fun game. Just wish it was longer.

E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy demo
I've heard some good and some bad things about it, figured I'd try it myself. It looks REALLY empty, which is kind of a problem, but we'll see.

Picked up Catherine on PSN Plus and really liking it so far. I wish more games would tackle "everyday" issues rather than some form of world saving.

i hated that game and i usually like janky-but-interesting shit like that After trying the demo, yeah, I disliked it. Too difficult and, for the wide open spaces that frequent the game, too empty. So after that I tried the Lost Planet demo, and it was too short for me to get a proper reaction. I enjoyed it a bit though.

I recently played the oldest "fluently playable ego-shooter" that I know again. I'm sure no one agrees with me that this is an ego shooter at all tho It really depends on how you define the term ego shooter and I admit that my definition is a bit awkward. For me it does not have to do with the perspective, more with a certain realism and feeling of the game, especially the combat. Realistic guns with limited ammo, quick kills, no constant waves of enemies, maybe a certain style of music really set it apart from most action games of its time afaik. It does have flaws tho, so It's definitely no 100 of 100 points game, more like 70 of 100 points or so. (at the time it came out) I am aware of the Game Hostages for the Amiga 500, which came out in 1988 (or Maze War in 1970 whatever) if I remember correctly but anyways, this game is the first one I know, that delivers a certain realistic, fluent (!) in your face combat that I associate with Ego Shooters. What do you think ?

I think I've never heard someone describe a game as an "ego shooter" before, whatever that means.
