This is an old program I made a couple of years ago, but some of you might find it fun. When you run it you can enter a name and it will create a random retro style avatar monster based on the name.

It's fun for avatars (like mine..) and just to see what the monster will look like Smiley

The source is right there, it really should not be a problem to compile it yourself.
Also I don't have a mac so I can't build it for you.

In theory, all necessary to compile on the mac is to follow these instructions

http://wiki.allegro.cc/index.php?title=Xcode#Using_Allegro_with_Xcode

Run sudo port install allegro, make a new xcode console project, change the project settings given, dump Retro Avatars.cpp into main.cpp and compile.

Unfortunately my macports is really busted right now so I can't seem to do anything here.
