Bloodball is an aggressive underground blood sport where two teams take balls to the face until only one side is left standing.

Players use Xbox 360 controllers to throw, catch, parry and dodge.

If you don't have four Xbox controllers you should borrow your friends' and have them over to play. If you don't have friends then just keep doing what you're doing.

Humble beginnings:

Looks cool, I can't be bothered to buid the project myself though. Looking forward to see how it plays.

It plays quite well, but I'm working remotely and only have one controller so I can't actually experience the multiplayer myself.  Cry

My friend, the programmer, has had people over to play though which has helped a lot.

Anyway, slight update in the OP. Fancy arena becoming a reality.

Also I

playing the game and testing a couple bugs (which have since been fixed). There's no multiplayer but you can see the guy run around and throw balls and stuff.

Fancy scene transition (it doesn't look as crappy in the game)

Transition looks great! Very well done. Hand Clap

The court itself could use a little more pizzazz, though. Quite dark and flat-looking.

Yeah... I still haven't gotten around to the background at all. I'd like spectators too, but I doubt there's time. So much left to do!! Crazy

It's not quite final, but since I have to move on to other things for now, here's what the title screen looks like:

Last night some friends and I had a playtesting session to get the final details on the gameplay down, and we took a little video (audio contains dick jokes):

Seems to be coming along nicely. Today I'm just getting the SFX/Music in, as well as menus and that kind of stuff.

Looks pretty fun and I enjoy the artwork! Only thing is for a game called Bloodball, there really isn't much blood...
