As the thread title suggests I'm a 3D artist, currently in the AAA games industry working as a Character Artist and I'm looking for a programmer to collaborate on projects with. Here's more details:

Project Scale: Small but quality mobile and PC games, eventual expansion to current and next generation consoles. I currently work on large scope projects with long development times and I'm looking to change it up and work on short but sweet games in my off-time. I don't mean Breakout clones or Flappy Bird games, as awesome as they are...I mean games like Risk of Rain, Spelunky, Trine,  Magicka, Towerfall, and other small-team development games that have high quality aesthetics and gameplay.

My Work: You can find my current work here Well, hello there!: http://www.curtbinder.com . I'd like to make mostly 3D games if possible as I'm interested in evolving indie and mobile games into a less pixel art heavy medium. I love pixel art, and I don't mind doing it, but doing things in 3D will allow me to use my skills to a better potential. I've done pretty much everything from characters, environments, FX, and UI.

Me and my Ideas: I'm making this thread without a specific game idea because I would much rather collaborate on an idea together than for it to be a dictatorship. I want development of the games to be fun for the both of us. I've got plenty of game ideas floating around in my head but I don't want this to be just about my ideas, and I would hope that whoever is interested in my offer feels the same way. I've worked in numerous engines but I've only just began delving deep into Unity and C#, and considering how much artwork needs to be done with a 3D game I decided to make this thread and ask for a partner or even a brief collaborator.

YOU: Location doesn't matter much to me as long as you're available to chat/skype/etc during the day (PST timezone), it might help if we're around the same age but that isn't 100% necessary. The most important thing for me is that you're focused and motivated to start making fun and quality games. Most of the work I'll be doing will be in the evenings and on the weekends so if you can work more or less than that it's fine as well. I would like a long-term collaborator but if you're just interested in collaborating on a short term project that's a-o-k with me. Experience with Unity and C# would be awesome, and if you've got interest in other fields that will only help Smiley

If you're interested and want to discuss it further please contact me. If you could link or show me examples of the work that you've done as a programmer I would greatly appreciate it. I'm looking for someone as determined as I am to make some finished games.

Or just PM me here, I'll get back to you.

Thanks for reading, hopefully I hear from some awesome programmers so we can get some work flowing!  Gentleman
