I'd more say that we are sourcing the same sort of inspirations. , and of course no offense taken, Bee and Puppy cat is cool. Even if it is cartoons aimed at tumblr. Thanks guys!

Hey everybody! Lately we've been hard at work finishing up the boss, adding effects and adding in the new dashing mechanic. GIFs Galore: Dashing: We wanted the combat to feel more instant and powerful, so we once again thought back to dragon balls and came up with this. The boss: Aligning all those laser was a major pain in the ass , but the boss is almost done now. Although some of the bosses mechanics will need reworking due to the dashing. The next few weeks will be spent finishing and polishing the boss, adding new enemies and a ton of work on the existing enemies. Over and out.

The mechanics look amazing! Nice work.
Are you thinking it's going to be a bullet-hell type of game?

Thanks dude.
It's definitely not bullet hell. It's really goddamn hard to define what this game even is in this current state, and that's exactly how i like it. The current philosophy is to make a movement system that is really goddamn fluid, and then design enemies that are difficult to that.
But we have a ton of awesome ideas to prototype for enemies. Lots of things with lasers, and timing challenges, and shields.

Hi! Muzz,I like a lot your project, is really interesting, i only have a few suggestions: are you testing the velocity of movement between the background and the asteroids? seems like it is the same. The other suggestion is: maybe you should calibrate the rotational velocity of the body asteroid and the player, due some players like me feel very dizzy if it has a very high velocity. Great project! regards

Looks amazing, and the physics looks stable . I'm doing a similar thing with my game, and the radial gravity + jump + irregular surfaces are a huge pain in the ass. Following!!

Nice foliage! The grass is a tad too on the blue side for my taste, but it looks good overall!

We are making good progress pushing towards a build for people to play! Currently I'm working on sound and music, and tyler is implementing a ton of different little things. Have a listen to the current direction im going with the music. While i play guitar and all that jazz, i'm not very experienced doing game music. So i would love some critical feedback! https://soundcloud.com/murry-lancashire-muzz/sets/treasurestar-demotracks

Hello everyone! For the past couple of months we've been polishing, art cranking and bug crunching. The demo level has been mapped out and we're currently in the process of populating it with good guys, bad guys and some scenery in between. Murry's been working on adding a ton of scenery for the asteroids such as: shark huts, trash piles and various plants. he's also made new desert planet which will be home to the deadly sand worm. As for me I've been implementing a few enemies which aren't ready to show yet. But mostly I've been polishing, bug fixing and tweaking. Here are a few GIFs of what we've been working on:The starting planet: Another grass planet: A barren planet: And the desert planet:

I love how the energy attacks go around the planet. That's so Dragon Ball! (nostalgia attack) Great stuff you people.
