rules number one deconnect from internet and go somewhere IRL during sales
Problem: Sales are IRL too! :O I nearly went over to my local big computer store to scope out parts to start building a new machine; mine's starting to age a bit. Thank god I just stayed inside and bought games off of Steam, saved me some money there. I lost I bought some games  Guess who won't eat during the end of the month |

I have four (unfinished) games on my gamejolt page and the one that garners the most attention is the least finished. Like, it's so unfinished that I don't even consider it started at all! It was from my first 2 days game jam and I got distracted making 3d models so I didn't even release a demo. The game page is just a block of text and a couple of screen shots. (there is a demo in a blogpost but I doubt anyone is actually reading those).
And the reason? it has a long and stupid title lol. There's a marketing lesson in there somewhere.

There is a thing I noticed: Art games have also paved the way for TOY game like "where is my hammer", god this game is relaxing. Toy game have always existed but there is a new found acceptance and trend with them now (see goat simulator), less about challenge and more about "play" and silly fun.
