Bioshock seriously stopped being interesting to me after I found out death had no consequence.
The spooky atmosphere was gone because I no longer had to watch out for myself. The intricacies of the gameplay were gone because there was no point in me learning them, and the whole setting felt incredibly fake.
Enourmous mistake, that one.
