Hey all ~

Just wanted to bring you guys a link. This is a week-long jam where developers make games. It promotes motivation amongst lazy indies.

http://gameprototypechallenge.com/

I've never participated, but I really like what it's doing. I will be participating in v4 though. :D

I'm going to be participating in this (I've done something for the previous two). Will be interesting to see what everyone else comes up with Smiley

Cool.

If only I'd done all my homework on time and had time to participate...

I never participated in any of these challenges before, I think I might try it out this time, just to see what happens.

Yay, more getting sidetracked!

As I didn't do much for the 7drl challenge I'll try to do something for this :D

Well, I don't think that I will end up with anything playable, but who cares.

Shame. My parents need me to do stuff all week!

Good thing I only need to make a prototype.

I can't think of anything for the new theme Facepalm.

Burden and Sunshine, this might be difficult.

Have to start anyways  Undecided Hand Pencil

I can only think of really simple stuff, or epic stuff. There has to be something somewhere on the spectrum that would make a good motivated week of work.

Think think think.

Recovering from ones burden and stepping into the light? That sounds right, a redemption from ones sins. I may be reading way to far into this however.

Gah.. I'm going to have to write here on the forum less I forget to write it down elsewhere.

So it would be a game of recovering from purgatory, rising to heaven. This could still be in any genre, so lets choose one that will be easy for somebody who knows stuff, but isn't close to mastery. Well at least now I know what my interpretation of the theme is.

well i have an idea, but considering my laziness, i don't know if i'll finish it within a week. i'm thinking on not adding anything more than programmer art until i'm almost done.

And in one day I get assigned to write three pretty good sized papers for various classes.
