I dig it, Ashkin. I thought you said you weren't good at rapid development.
Protip: This game was made over the space of two days.
That is not rapid development. That is slow development. It was all I could do to stop where I did- the yellow guys are supposed to shoot bullets and the dark blue ones are supposed to blow up when you shoot/touch them Droop
Also more weapon types would be cool- the presents kinda suck as it is now.

Just got back from a short holiday and all these awesome advent games were waiting to be played!

sandoval&bobo - just awesome!
conker - love the soundtrack
geeze - wow, thats some cool retro grappling hook action
sos - hilarious, my favourite Cheesy
theo - such a sad story, truly a strong statement on the effects of global warming
sundownkid - Excellent story, great narration and illustrations!
ghost - lol, santa punching people ... nice Hand Clap
slow - great sprites! would love to see this developed a bit further
ashkin - suprising amount of polish, nice particle effects!

Tobias, this is awesome.
Do you guys think it would be cool if we all released our source on Christmas, as an extra 'present'? I think it might be interesting to look through some of the sources.

I've been working on my game all day, but I think I'm going to have to finish it tomorrow due to a weird error I'm trying to iron out.

EDIT: No, screw that, I won't let this beat me.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys! And here I was wondering whether anybody would like my game at all after all the fun action games (and the awesome visual story) that were posted... Smiley

I like it and I'm in. It's not the cleanest code I ever wrote, but even for jams I seldom do worse things than making private members public...

It will probably take more than a minute, but you totally should! Hands down the best game in here so far regarding the plain delight it brings.
