After trying several concepts for this old pc simulation thing, I decided to settle for a cga-colored, paper gui metroidvania platformer. This is it. I hope it catches on.



I love this! It reminds me more of the Spectrum than the old PCs though (although the oldest PC anyone I knew had was a 286, so I dunno)

I'm glad it's getting some love! Truth is, I'm not dead set on a game concept yet. I think I'll turn it into a turn based rpg. But either way, the paper gui, cga colors and crt monitor effects are a great combination for any retro game and I'm determined to use it for something.

Not sure if this is the best place for this or not, but I had a bit of nostalgia playing Paper Mario TYD again.
So I drew a mock-up going for something that would play incredibly similarly to it but still have its own identity.
