you know i really hated that you changed your art style.
but you really pulled it together and i think i like this new one a lot more. its really really growing on me and it feels more memorable.

In my case it was the walk cycle! So I'm glad to see it's still there. New style is really nice! The old face was better though, or maybe it's just the blurriness of the eyes and mouth that bother me.

you know, I wasn't really feeling the new graphics, not even in the video, but, I went ahead and downloaded the new alpha...And, I have to say you've won me over, everything just feels great in motion, all the subtle movement in the trees and such, its gorgeous!!:D I have to say though, the fences feel wrong, I'm not sure what but they aren't as polished looking as the rest, I think maybe they should have a more wood-grain, less felt look (your decision). Also a (kind of) bug: if you move up, and then move to the side, you do not turn sideways, wheras if you were moving down, you do. this may be an intentional choice, but I think it would look better the other way, anyway, great work, looking forward to future updates:D

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I present the first smiling Cool Ranch characters. Also, I'm aware the fences look weird - gonna fix those. I also plan on removing the protagonist's nose. I'm not a big fan of it either.

The new character is great!
I think you should look at the lighting effects of the torches in Zelda Wind Waker, I think that style could fit well for the camp-fire in your game.

Not much to report, but I added some Polish letters to the font. The game is now in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and Japanese!
Also I removed the main character's nose.

You can now see where you'll be using an item! Pretty useful, can't believe I forgot this. Sprinklers, so you can water your crops. These only work near water though. You can also see what entity you'll be interacting with. Also, floor tiles! And non-functioning beds.
