The game seriously needs some multisampling or antialiasing going on, also I don't really like Velocity Park

I want to throw money at you so i can play it faster I can't wait to see how this turns out, it's gonna be amazing -Flatgub, Game Programmer, Professional Choc-Milk Drinker, Professional Crazy Cat Lady <3

It's not a 100% match, but the best we have The chain would be called "Velocity Parks Inc." or so. The reasoning behind this name was that we thought something ending with Park/Parks should work as the connection to theme parks and it should work as company chain name. For the part before Park we were sifting through lists of words starting with P to get the aliteration, but the only one we found that kinda works as theme park name was Pleasant Parks...sounds alright but is a bit weak? :/ Velocity sounds nice and would be the connection to coasters/thrill rides. Urgh this is so hard already, and when we find something that sounds ok to us you guys tell us it's terrible Which is alright! Good you are honest with us We really got to make a name decision asap though, it's getting increasingly problematic to not have one.

Velocity does sound cool. Maybe some sort of physics thing.
Critical Velocity? Conservation of Momentum? Or maybe like Fahrenheit 451: 73 Newtons, which is the amount of force to fracture the human skull. You could abbreviate it as 73N or something? ...Nah
Kurtss' idea Coasters Incoasterated was pretty good.

Naming video games can be hard, since there is so much to consider; there are legal, artistic, and marketing factors all at play.
I think that part of the colder response to the suggested name is due to how it is not generic enough compared to a title such as Roller Coaster Tycoon. The title Roller Coaster Tycoon implies very little, just that the game is about being a business dude making theme park stuff (all that is important, really). Velocity Park implies more; it speaks of a singular park with a chosen name. Unless the game follows a narrative around a specific Velocity Park or a Velocity Parks Inc. this feels awkward since it already drains away some of the control the player feels they have over the creation of the park even before they play.
Maybe add a word in there that also hints at the construction/creative/business side of the game? Velocity Parks Inc. is not a terrible title.
Anyways, just some thoughts, I hope that you are able to find a good name that you feel is best!

But the thing is.. With RTC you were playing in your park. Not the Velocity park or whatever the plan is. So you gotta put some emphasis on the park you're playing (if you are going with a brand name) being yours.

Oh man, you're absolutely right. I thought a non-generic game name would be more interesting, but yes...we shouldn't dictate a park name, thus a generic game name makes more sense. Thanks!
