The new Death Grips and GY!BE albums are great.
hadn't heard of death grips before, pretty good.

new godspeed is same as old godspeed and good too, though it does have a certain whiff of comeback album about it. that might disappear with repeated listens though.

withholding definite judgement until the hype dust has settled.

Today’s big story centers around the killing of District Attorney
McGraw, whose body was found in his garage, murdered.
Doctor Steiger is under the impression that these crimes are being
perpetrated by dead men charged with atom rays, which gives
them super-human strength and makes them impervious to bullets.
Well, if you want to believe that story you can

Pretty good dark psychedelic/acid punk band from France. Aggressive riffing mixed with chaotic soloing and plenty of guitar effects.

They have a sort of black metal-like myth thing going on as well, claiming they live in a cave and have pagan orgies in the moonlight or sth. Unfortunately the music itself doesn't sound anywhere near as freaky as that implies and is, in fact, pretty tame compared to bands with similar musical concerns such as Chrome, (early) Butthole Surfers, Monoshock etc.
