I like the mix of high and low profile games. I picked up Bundle #2 because I saw Braid was in it, so I knew I was getting at least one good game. The fact the other games were generally pleasing was just icing on the cake.

It's sad DROD didn't get in there, but as a person who owns all the DROD games except DROD RPG at least I feel smug in knowing I already paid full price and don't need the charity of "Pay what you want" for those games.

And for the record, only DROD RPG is like Tower of the Sorcerer, Paul Eres. The other games are more like a turn-based Lolo game. No stats to carry between rooms, each room is generally a self-contained puzzle. The full original game is available on their website for free as "DROD: Architect's Edition".

This thread got me thinking, we should do a "More-Humble Indier Bundle" that features a bunch of less popular indie games with a "pay what you want" system. I mean, why not?

and i'd avoid references to other bundles, they aren't needed. the humble indie game bundle is hardly the first pay what you want sale, and hardly the first bundle, it's just the most famous one

and you don't need to help me set up paypal and downloads, i've been selling games since 2007 and have had two sales events for my own game (including one pay what you want sale) so it'd work much the same way as what i've already done, except that i'd have to "bundle" all games into one zip file

i've used a variety; paypal, fastspring, bmt-micro. you don't need php to use paypal afaik, and you can pay with paypal on fastspring or bmt-micro (which is safer since paypal doesn't do fraud detection and so on which normal e-commerce services do)

32 or 64 sounds fine, will be time to decide later. and i'd have to play your games first of course -- but at least i can promise that i'll play all submissions (or get ortoslon to do it for me )
