very informativeincredible 3 part documetary - from the wiki page: The Century of the Self is an award winning British television documentary film. It focuses on how Sigmund Freud, Anna Freud, and Edward Bernays influenced the way corporations and governments have thought about, dealt with, and controlled people

I just watched "The Game". I wish they did more with his emotional struggles with his father's suicide, but it was still really intense and really enjoyable.

I really wanted to see The Cabin in The Woods, but it basically had two screenings in Australia before now going straight to dvd.

This one was amazing. Perhaps the most enjoyable movie I've seen in years. It's also one of those movies that needs to be seen without knowing anything about it. Well, it's ok to know that it has one of the most typical horror settings and really stereotypical characters but to reveal anything beyond that probably lessens the viewing experience tremedously.

And that's what makes it so frustrating, I want to see it, but I'm also trying to avoid all news, trailers and reviews.

I like the Iron Man movies for the most part, and Avengers looks bad ass. Captain America and Thor were boring and didn't do anything interesting or great, although Captain America had a strongish first act, but I'm still pretty psyched for Avengers. Also I loved the X-men First Class movie, and even though that doesn't really have anything to do with the Avengers movie it's another hollywood superhero movie from last year and it was actually pretty good.

Easily best part of the film.
I've been waiting most of my life to see that happen in a super hero movie. I always wondered why none of the super-powered characters ever took that approach. I can easily recommend The Avengers. The pacing of the film was excellent. At no point was I not being entertained.

I just saw it last night. I was totally surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The story wasn't amazing or anything, but it's easily better than any other superhero movie that's come out lately. I wonder if it's only because of how horrible other superhero movies have been lately that I was able to see this one as pretty good, meanwhile, it's actually pretty bad. ... ? eh. I enjoyed myself. whatever. PUNY GOD. I laughed so friggin hard. I love those kind of moments in films. Visceral and hilarious.
