If they defeat the Crestfallen Warrior, I am convinced that they can do anything.
If they don't... now that's just embarrassing. How can you let him do that to you?

Welp, they got him. I wonder where they're going now. There are quite a few ways this run could go depending on the whims of the faceless masses. I must admit that watching this stream makes me want to pick up the game again.

yeah the guy who hook the game devise a few rules and more complex voting system, the game alternate democracy phases (paused) and anarchy phases (RT), it also disable things like menu and other things until some requirement are met. So the input design has been perfected!

i do hope they return to the dks1 look for the hollows (looks like they will). dks1 hollows actually looked like rotting corpses (well, mummified corpses kinda), dks2 hollows look like lame generic green zombies.

So after a thousand years, I return again to dks1. I never really got far (armored boar past taurus demon fml). Since my save was eatenby GFWL, I am restarting the thing once more. Never realized there was a graveyard right next to firelink shrine, so I went to investigate, and found like a thousand skeletons craving for my flesh. Trying to beat them right there was an exercise in futility, so I dragged one by one to the shrine and killed them there. WHat I noticed is that their behavior slightly changed for quite a few of them as I dragged them there, ignoring me often and just staring into the void and sometimes opting to retreat slowly, as if they were affected somehow byu being there. Is this a bug or a storytelling bit? I really hope it is the later, because it was darn interesting to see them do that.

it's not a bug. aggro in dark souls works using "leash points", i.e. enemies have certain fixed points on the map where they will start to retreat and only fight "defensively". you can actually exploit this with some minibosses like havel to cheese them.

Ah its a mechanical thing, rather than a narrative one. I was hoping that the skeletons had some backstory there and they changed bheaviours because of it (they seemed rather contemplative, and such a change in behavior was something I would expect being deliberate don the souls games).
Still, its a good thing to know. I only dragged the skeltons because I was too familiar with the shrine's bonfire layout (I had provoked the guy sitting there with my earlier character and kept dying to him like a thousand times until i got familiar with the whole place and got decent at parrying)

Guessed as much, but I always enjoy going for harder areas early if only because I can - I died to the giant skeleton, but that was me being clumsier than he was challenging - in any case it feels a fairer fight than the blue eyed knight + crossbows guys pas the drgaon bridge on 1-2 in DeS. In dragons dogma I went for the dark arisen island as early as I could figure it out and kept dying to the very first wargs.
