Jochum Skoglund (Hammerwatch) once offered me $20 to make him an original enemy design sprite with 8 directions plus idle, walking and attacking animations.

He argued that for his bosses sprites, he had paid $30 each. Since he liked my work (his words), he agreed to pay me $50. That made no sense... Still, i obviously refused.

I have Skype messages to prove it.

Since you said no lame fonts like Arial, i used the critically acclaimed Comic Sans. hope you like it! also, is it possible you could pay me in cash? i kinda don't want to lose money on the transfer fees.

By that logic, for each copy you sell, you should give the title screen artist a percentage.

Maybe... But so far no one came up with actual offer.

What do you mean? You offered $5... What did you expect would be the reaction? That's completely ridiculous, you'd be even better off asking for free. This isn't paid work.
