We actually worked in Blizzard's Cinematics team so we worked on all of those projects like:
Starcraft, Wow, Diablo and etc.

Oh wow, all the animations and VFX are awesome! :D

I'd personally have made him able to attack a bit diagonally (like a 45 degree cone or something) because it feels a bit weird seeing this guy with such smooth and awesome animations that is then somehow constrained to shooting only completely vertically. Is this just because it's based on Pang or did you find any drawback to adding more attack directions?

We actually tried diagonally shooting as well but it turned out that having a more simple game mechanic was more fun while also staying true to the good old pang.
Our title was also always planned to be released on multiple platforms and on mobile this would be also a bit tricky to achieve while maintaining simple controls.

RELEASED!!
Aaaaaand we are out on PS4, Xbox one, IOS and Android.
Very happy to see our game on more platforms now.
