Whenever I play Vlad I can never seem to gain enough health to support the other abilities.  Seems like I just lose health gradually. |

I'm not sure what you mean. You can never have too little health to use Vlad's skills, because they cost a percentage of his current health.  Well, except for Tides of Blood which is easily his worst skill and it generally does not do anything useful. I usually purchase more ability power than health items. Zhonya's Ring is pretty hilarious on Vlad, because you can make yourself invulnerable again right after you get out of the Sanguine Pool and drive your enemies crazy. |

I usually end up using Vlad's ability in a bad way that will make my health bar diminish over time, even if I max his Q.

i think the rarest is either corki or evelyn -- i only rarely see those two
It seems there are characters that are just flat out better than corki overall, so why bother playing with a weaker champ? I mean, he's not that bad, just not great. Evelyn.. just.. useless. 3v3 having an eve will cause you to lose, because she's worthless in teamfights. 5v5 her only use is to KS and maybe get a kill or two from retreating enemies. Hooray. Heck, you could bring a karthus and that'd probably do more. |

Corki was underplayed back when he was good as well. He just didn't seem to be popular at all, possibly because he was a lot harder to play than other ranged DPS champions and was only marginally better even if you knew how to play him.

Corki can still be a good counterpick for lots of occasions. I mean he no other champs can reveal stealthed units in the game, which helps reveals stealth champs, wards, mushrooms and jack in the boxes. His E is still pretty amazing, honestly. An aoe that deals armor reduction in a cone and applies auto-attack damage is pretty cool.
But yeah, he's been eclipsed.

Oh cool. I'll add you Kenesque. I've just stopped solo queuing for anything. Struggling to get out of elo hell isn't something I'm really interested in. Right now I mostly play practices for fun or competition or play normal games with people. Ranks really don't interest me. Most interested in having fun and unlocking champs. Also enjoying the new free rune page. Oh btw, these are the leaked patch notes, which feature: - Huge Corki buff - Sivir buff - Fiddlesticks buff - Heimerdinger buff - Malphite bug fix - Miss Fortune nerf - Twitch nerf - HUGE MORDEKAISER nerf (holy crap, it's horrible) |

Well, guess you've got a point, but when Dota 2 arrives are people still going to complain that they have to pay for things?
I'm sure there will be people complaining. I will probably buy it because it won't be a full price game I guess and the Valve polish will justify that price. But yeah I wouldn't be too surprised if people moaned that they have to pay for something they can get for free (DotA or LoL). |

I had never played DotA before starting to play LoL. The free price tag helps a lot in justifying spending time with a quality product and an overall fun game. They don't actively sell power, which is nice. Also, sorry Monster King, Mordekaiser is kinda dead.  |

I finally wanted to try this game, despite my own opinions/what I've heard about it, and Tah-Daah!:  Now it's stuck and I don't have an installer for it, and it looks like you have to sign-up anytime you want a new one... Interesting website choices... |

Yeah, apparently a lot of people encounter this problem. I never have. Go by the forums, they may have solution. I don't think you need to create an account to download the client.
Sadly, Riot Games still haven't released a client that doesn't take 6 hours to patch the first time. It's kinda lame and eats up a ton of bandwith.
