This looks great! I've been tinkering with a colonisation game in my head for ages, so I love seeing stuff like this.
Can't wait to see more.

Wow - this looks amazing! The graphics remind me of "Revenge of the Titans"! I love how the colony is layered and with tons activity.
I'm curious; How does the sandstorm work?
Can you tell more about the economy/resource system?

Looks fantastic. What kind of obstacles to colonizing Mars are there? Any enemies? Fire hazards? Sandstorms tearing things up? Also, I saw you're at 80%. Demo/beta soon?

Sandstorm will "break" the buildings, so they will need to be repaired by colonists. There are three type of resources. The first type is required for the operation of the buildings(water/energy). The second type are items which produced by buildings. Metal, which required for new buildings, components for build new pipes, food for feeding colonists and oxygen. The last one - research points. This one needs for attract new colonists and also for buildings. You'll get it by analyze minerals from the surface. Looks fantastic. Also, I saw you're at 80%. Demo/beta soon? Thanks! No beta or demo, but it will come out quite soon. Somewhere in January. What kind of obstacles to colonizing Mars are there? Any enemies? Fire hazards? Sandstorms tearing things up?
The usual Mars stuff: sandstorms, marsquakes, some space bandits, crazy colonists.

Will there be some story/campaign or it will be just build4fun?

Any chance we'll get to compete against(sabotage/exploit/blackmail) other companies/entities attempting to colonize Mars also?

Sci-fi SimCity! My bro and I loved playing SimCity on the SNES back in the day, and I've always had a weak spot for sci-fi themes. Would definitely enjoy this

Looking forward to playing this one, seems like a fresh take on the strategy genre. There aren't enough indie strategy games for some reason.

This looks absolutely amazing! I love Mars stuff!
Slight nitpick, but because atmospheric pressure on Mars is a couple percent of that on earth, sandstorms aren't dangerous at all, apart from depositing dust and sand into places sand has no business being. A Martian tornado would barely be felt as more than a gentle breeze, standing right in the middle of it.
Still, this looks amazing!

Psh! Haven't you seen Mission to Mars - those storms are deadly!
=)
When I saw that sand-storm I was excited about just the idea of having it obscure your colony for the duration and prevent you from making changes. But then I was never a fan of "disasters" in city-building games. If what I'm building in a game is to be destroyed, shouldn't it be from my own mistakes and not randomness?

Yes, there are little story for few missions. Any chance we'll get to compete against(sabotage/exploit/blackmail) other companies/entities attempting to colonize Mars also?
Still thinking about it, but there will be enemy units. Awesome, I'm a sucker for isometric games and you've got a beautiful tileset going.
Thanks! Tileset and other graphics made by this guy. Psh! Haven't you seen Mission to Mars - those storms are deadly!

Uh, great scene. For the storms in the game - they not really dangerous. They more about keeping colonists busy.

I don't mean enemies as in soldiers and fighting. I was more implying using vital resources (food, water, oxygen) to barter with other colonies to further your goals. Just a thought.

The sandstorm could be great for obsureness, yeah! Or if your habitat is solar, then you'd be running at 50% efficiency (sand buildup on panels), forcing you to make rough priority decisions, a la FTL. That would be awesome! Also, micrometeorites!

Not really had planned interactions with other colonies yet, but thanks for the idea.
