i've been hearing hellish stories about schengen visas,.. i'm not sure how easy it'll be to make it. deciding on a place/time would be a good step so i can start doing the paperwork though.

I think Berlin would be best, because it's more of a major destination so it's easier to get cheap flights there than to Brussels.
