Hey all, I'm officially moving Keys to Moonspire into full production starting tomorrow!

I'm extremely happy with the design direction finally and I'm ready to pour all of my focus on production!

Today, I bought and learned the UI for Aseprite. I cannot express how efficient animating is in Aseprite versus what I had been doing...

In my first hour I whipped this new basic idle animation together!



The old idle animation was too busy for what it was, so what I have in mind going forward is that at the end of each idle animation cycle I'll switch to a random idle animation. There will be something like a 70% chance to switch to the basic idle, and smaller percent chances to switch to flavor animation like blinking or other fun things. I have a few ideas in mind but those will come much later.

Since then I've been working on the code side of things. My goal for this month was to put out a GIF of December walking around the world but tbh if I stick to this new full-time production schedule, I might hit that goal by the end of the week. Rather than become relaxed, I'll immediately try to start hitting February's goal.
