Persona 3 would have been better if the singular dungeon wasn't a million floors long and always looked the same

I hope to match the artistic skill displayed in the Persona games someday.

lol, give him a break. anyway, any suggestion to time travel game/movie? currently i think: -Chrono Trigger done the best in time travel game, and -Back to the Future done the best in time travel movie. because recently i watch one local-made time travel movie, like, god sent him to the future to see how his son doing when he grow up. not that bad, but just not good enough. You should watch Time Crimes and Primer if you want good time travel movies

A favorite let's player of mine on youtube. He has this
where he announces that he'll be doing showcases of indie games. I love this guy, check'em out, and you should submit your game. He's the reason why I decided to make an account, just so I could post this video haha. I strongly recommend to check out his other let's plays, he did a very good one on Cry of Fear and Lone Survivor!

This has already been done. It's called "Doom 3" I believe.

For a moment I thought that was going to link to a post where he announces his departure from the forums. No such luck.

hi, rather unfortunate that you would get me, super joe, the hero of the fsa, as your introduction to other people, on this internet web forum. anyway, what's the allure of "let's plays"? fundamentally, i don't understand it. but i won't be rude, or do irony about it at this juncture.

Narcissism, dreams of stardom. Allure, bravado. The desire to feel wanted. There are two basic camps of Let's Play. The first camp believes that the purpose of Let's Play is to illuminate the beauty and joy within the video games that mean the most to them, and the player is but a means to that end. These are usually pretty alright. The second camp believes that the purpose of Let's Play is to illuminate how interesting and entertaining of a person they are, and the game is but a means to that end. These are almost uniformly terrible. Unfortunately, the former breed of LPer is more-or-less dead nowadays, so what you see today is mainly that really is quite pointless.

ElectricalBeast is really the only decent LPer. And I'm talking about his SM64 videos, not the Minecraft bullshit -- the dude is hilarious. Retsupurae only made him less funny, which is saying something (though they still have to be given credit for introducing the Internet at large to the guy, so I guess it balances out in the end.)
I think the biggest problem LPers have is that they think they have to be talking every damn second of the video, even when there's nothing to be talking about. Also the fact that most of them have horrible voices, and the other fact that I generally don't want commentary (especially if it's usually along the lines of "OH SHIT" or "okay and here we have to do...") over videos of games and I'd rather just listen to the actual game audio/music. Annotated videos strike a good balance though.

I look for "Longplay" videos instead of Let's Plays because I don't like listening to a dude talking over the video. Annotations are brilliant because they encourage the writer to be succinct and only interrupt when they have something genuinely important to say.
Don't they make FPS games that don't feature regenerating health? I guess the last FPS I played was Metroid Prime 3, though, so I guess I'm totally out of the loop on that genre.
Regenerating Health bugs me less than making the player stand around and listen to dudes talking before you can open a door. Have some decency and give the player something to do while people are talking to them. If the player can clear the content faster than the scene can play, be prepared with a witty exclamation from the person talking complimenting them on how skilled they are. The less time the player spends waiting, the better the game is.
