Hello! I wanted to let you know about a new project we are working on using Unity. It's an action/adventure game about a little girl trying to escape from an evil castle. The gameplay consist of switching between the two avatars in order to defeat enemies, clear puzzles and progress inside the castle. You can check the progress blog at http://flyingcarpetsgames.com/Please tell me what you think and give me your advises. Thank you!

Great job salim. I keep coming back to look at this game (you've posted it on a few sites). Love the artwork. Wish I could have done music for it!

Nice graphics although the castle might look a bit too "clean" Is it UDK ? the lighting style looks like UDK's

The older trailer looked pretty amazing, kind of like Skyward Sword meets Ico.
Can't wait to see how it develops.

I get the Ico vibe too, definitely in the last picture. Looks great so far. Based on the provided pictures I can't offer much for advice. The last picture does make the castle come off as a little barren, but I'm not sure if that is in purpose or not. If it is not, I'd add more detail and decor to the castle.

The last picture is just an elevator room, watch the older trailer!
I'm sure they're improving things though!

Hey, thank you! Your support, kind words and advises actually means a lot to us.
@moi: The engine is actually Unity, I think it's the lightmap that makes a big difference. @prisonscape: We are aiming for a late 2014 release.
I'll try to post more of our progress here.

Looks really cool. I'm getting a Skyward Sword kind of vibe from the art style.

I really love the style of this... Somehow Miyazaki-esque, which is great. Totally gonna follow you.

I like the world you created: it's warm. The blue sky and sunny landscapes are so beautiful!

I remember this from the Unity Forums. I think I have even played a demo of a tower back then. It has come a long way since then. It looks really great and I wish you luck with your KS!

I hope your kickstarter succeeds. Although it is not a example of great quality, I liked it overall. But I still suggest you make some adjustements for the opening fight thing... It looks confusing, and VEEERY cheesy. But seriously, you are talented

I had a look at he kickstarter video and it's looks really nice. I like the robotic aspect of the protagonists and the animay vibe. Although the robots' "explosion" could be done better. The only problem with the trailer is the music, the music really brings it down, the trailer would be a lot better with a better adjusted music.
the evil queen looks a bit too much like maetel though.

I like the overall combat gameplay. The little dash back maneuver looks like it has good game feel. My only complaint would be that I wish it was more organic and flowing battle... but then again they are robots so I dunno how great that would look.
I'm just itching for a skill based combat game similar to this without doing what most games do nowadays which is just bog down fights with lots of QT event attacks and automatic moves by just rapidly tapping the attack button.
What does this game offer in terms of original gameplay though? Is it more about the story you're trying to tell or what?
