So...

Hypothesis: Is it possible for less indepth and baser analysis of a game to lead to better gameplay, and the idea of 'play', in any aspect?

Attempting Method
Step 1: Find a game that is immersive, and appealing (preferably free) that I have not played and approach it openly like an environment and try to survive within it's rules. And if not to survive than to progress. Document this.

Step 2: Use data to isolate most contemplative and stimulating experiences.

Step 3: Analyze those and their potential.

I recommend Wurm Online or else Morrowind or Fallout... possibly even a Grand Theft Auto game if you haven't experienced any of those.

Yeah, finding a game is going to be hard given my gaming background.
I've had exposure to Wurms, Gunbound, and my favorite Scorched Earth.
Also the Morrowind/Fallout series.
Also GTA and definitely Minecraft.
