So, the purpose of this article is for people to post mockups of games that have an all new 'genre'. You can at least try drawing a hybrid or an interesting meta game or whatever. Be creative.   Coffee(I don't drink beer).

Well, This is meant for mockups that would express new ideas and genres etc. Most other mockups are mockups of a regular platformer, shooter or other game.

Your making the assumption that all mock-ups think about the game design.
When  really some mock-ups and game ideas just come from the very mock-up it's self.

This thread is kind of useless.
Unless you want to discuss genre hybrids I don't see a reason for this being here.
The mockups thread already serves it's duty.

I don't think there's a good reason to branch off from the main mockup thread. Furthermore, anyone can define a new genre using existing works since genres are just subjective categories. You can take Pac-Man and Noby Noby Boy and put them in a new genre called "eating games". Getting gaming culture to accept a new genre is the real trick.
