I was close to the World Trade Center when the first plane hit. I was just passing by, but that day my life changed. I remember the loud noise, the explosion, the screaming, the running. I remember the cameras, the firemen, the journalists. I'll never forget what happened there.
When the second building fell I looked back and couldn't believe my eyes. That was just some fifteen minutes after the first attack. Everyone was very confused.
That night, when I got home, I told my mother all about it. She hadn't seen the news that day, so when I told her she got scared and said, "You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air."
