Sweet another GM8 user :D
edit:
Hey, have you thought about extending the "hold escape to end" the game thing, I feel like it ends the game a tad to fast

Sorry for the long silence. Things in life happened and I got very busy for a while and took a break from working on the game. But now I'm back to working on it daily again. I'll try to start making updates again with anything I can show.

Sorry, I'm really not a fan of sfxr/bfxr. Too many indie games already use the sfxr/bfxr type sound effects, and honestly I can't stand them. It's used way too often. Oops, a month late now, but may I humbly suggest you try LabChirp? (made by a friend of mine). It can create quite a bit more vivid sound effects than bfxr if you know your way around sound synthesis or have time to learn it.

LabChirp is very cool! I'm using it now and I love. Also it makes great sample generator if you are into trackers (as in music trackers).

Woah! thanks, Paste! I was worried you might have lost interest in my game after it's been taking so long for me to complete! I appreciate it. As for your suggestion, Schoq, I've already made the sound effects for my game using instruments and percussion taken from SNES samples, as I assume people who made games for the SNES/SFC did. Thank you for the suggestions, though.

Any idea when you're going to finish this game, and do you plan to start another one afterwards, or take a break for a while? xD

I can't say when this game will be finished. I'm nearing the end, but there's no telling how long it will take to complete. I don't work well with setting dates. And yes, I have more game ideas I want to start work on right after I finish this one as well.

Cool pixelart, Rakugaki! Did you do it yourself? Very good, though you may try to add more intermediate colors, for better antialiasing.

Yes, I've done all the art myself. Did you mean the anti-aliasing around her chin and facial features?

Thanks, you two. I wasn't planning on changing the image, I was just asking what darkhog meant.

Did you mean the anti-aliasing around her chin and facial features? No, I meant antialiasing around about everything (including hair and frame - those are biggers offenders). Because it now looks like it was made in Paint.

Snes was capable to more than that. Just look how colorful Super Mario World is, or any SNES game for that matter.

I've never seen Rakugaki-otoko ever use anti-aliasing in his pixel art, I think it's just part of his style. He does make it in MS Paint, after all.
