Something in my graphics engine broke during an upgrade, and now I'm getting crazy junk data from a pixel shader of mine.





The patterns are a result of the rasterizer's 4x8 pixel rendering kernel, intersecting the fan-tessellation of the circles which apply the shader.  As for why it's happening, I'm still stumped.

The above errors turned out to be the result of an uninitialized variable.  For some reason it wasn't a problem until recently; I suspect a graphics driver update may have been the cause.

In other news I discovered that you can replace calls to glGenRenderbuffers with glGenFramebuffers (and the same for their Delete equivalents) with no consequences on NVidia cards.
