(Okay, I am starting a new thread for this!  Tiger)

Following up the SF/Bay Area get together, let's plan another get-together some time towards the beginning of next month!  The idea is to just spend an afternoon in Noisebridge hanging out, chatting, and game-making.  Bring your laptop if you can!

This time we may also do a mini compo, if there's interest.

edit: Okay, official plan is:

Sunday, February 6th
Starting at ~2:00 PM
At Noisebridge in SF

Getting in to Noisebridge instructions:
Location: 2169 Mission St. between 17th & 18th.
It's above a produce market.

Ring the bell with their logo on the metal gate and you should get buzzed in after a few seconds.

My suggestion: Saturday, February 5th at 2 PM until indefinite!

I'd like to attend. I could really use some feedback on my new game. But the one day I'm booked is Feb 5th. How about the 6th, or 12th?

I don't have a problem with 5th, 6th, or 7th. The 5th is a little better for an all-nighter event but I'm not planning on an all-nighter personally(and I don't think most people are).

I vote the 6th.

Zaphos just told me about this. I am definitely going to attend this time. I really wanted to go to the last meetup, but I had a conflict. I am available on any of the three days.

I'm looking forward to meeting you folks and making something.

I'm interested in coming, what day is it though?

The 7th might be tricky for me.

Sounds like the 6th is what works for everyone so far, so let's say the 6th?  (7th would be weird for me too.)

Okay, great. I'll be there! The announcement comes at a good time, I was just trying to plan my weekend.

Jimmy, are you taking the train over? If so, would you like to meet at BART somewhere in Berkeley? I'll see if I can catch you on IM.

I'll be making this. :D Should I eat lunch before I come or should I assume there will be a convoy for food at the start of the day like last time?

Hope this doesn't end up going too off-topic, but it seemed like a reasonable place to ask this rather than start a new thread.

I'm thinking of moving to Berkeley for grad school and was curious what the Bay Area indie scene is like.  You guys plan on doing this meetup regularly in the future?  Are there other indie gatherings in addition to the South Bay Jam, SF postmortem and the Bay Area Meetup Group?

Some of you guys seem to be hopping public transit to get to this meetup - how much of a pain is that?

If you're near BART, not too bad. I do that, from Berkeley neighbor, Emeryville.

What I want to know is, when is the next SF indie takeover of Noisebridge?

New thread?

Oh actually... what about syncing a get together with Ludum Dare? I'll talk to Jimmy and see what he thinks, as he seems to be initiating these things.
