Yup, Shuckle is probably my favorite pokemon despite the fact that i don't play many of the pokemon games that have it (that or i don't find one.)

aight then. i'm new here, although i've been lurking for quite some time, so hi and stuff.

i'm really a musician and a sounddesigner so i'm not that great with art in general. i have been doing some graphic design in the past but not really based on characer design or anything like that so yeah. i've recently started drawing and stuff while sitting at school as i tend to take notes that way so i figured that i could just link to some and see if i could perhaps get any feedback or anything, since i'm not really that good with this (as opposed to most of you people here.. yikes Shocked).

i guess i am still struggling with it hah. i do try to do some noodling everyday in the hopes of actually getting better but yeah. trying to get the hang of the whole perspective vs anatomy thing as well.. wth.. it's fun though!

I like it, it feels personal and you've got a pretty unique style! I really dig that kind of raw style though, so maybe I'm biased.

Out of curiosity, you're not studying in Skövde/Sweden by any chance, are you? Smiley

not yet, but i intend to go there once i can go to uni; going komvux in gothenburg now to get my grades and stuff.

Made a gradient, drew a bunch of white squiggly things, and then painted a shadow on the gradient layer.

The patterns were somewhat inspired by Paul Klee; you should check out some of his stuff. He's pretty boss.
