The scenes in the trailer looked pretty decent but I definitely didn't think that the Smashing Pumpkins was appropriate music for the trailer. Kind of killed it a little. I just hope there isn't a god-awful modern rock soundtrack in the movie or I'll be pissed. Hopefully they won't totally wreck another great Alan Moore work. Don't get me wrong I am definitely liking the look of the movie but that music just threw me for a loop.

I agree with you on the music, but I'm not totally sure what you would play with Watchmen. New music compo?

Yeah, something orchestra-esque. Somewhat grand and tragic. Definitely no words. After all the comic didn't have any music but I am sure if it did it would have been an orchestra with violins and the like.

I kinda excited, It'll be weird though that Alan Moore has nothing to do with it. I hope they can keep some of the horrible out that marred the otherwise fantastic Batman Begins. I have more faith in DC then Marvel when it comes to movie adaptations.

I still think it looks too action-y, but a lot better than I expected. The clock citadel thingy looked pretty sweet.

I love that they were able to make Rorshach's mask move like it did in the comics. Also, Doctor Manhattan and the Comedian look pretty much how I had imagined them.

They've been releasing production videos from their website every month, in case you care. It's looking pretty good, from what I've seen.

I felt that the music fit the mood perfectly. And it looks schweet

*SPOILERS KINDA* I think Niteowl has to look like a modern batman ripoff thats kinda the point of the character. The contrast between Golden age Batman and (80's)Modern Batman, is the contrast between the two night owls.
I'm also excited for the animated movie that they are making to go along with it about the comic within the comic! META!

I kind of don't like that the screenplay writer is the guy who wrote the screenplays to the two X-Men movies (which I didn't like much and if it has the tone of those movies it won't fit at all). But otherwise it looks impressive.
