As of 7.9.2014 (today) I've changed the tileset licence so it isn't free anymore.

A c64 and a ZX spectrum mockup also.

Sweet. Works really nicely on the C64 mockup.

This is gorgeous. Ace work, I'd love to see more artwork from you as well as games that use these assets.

This feels like the perfect amount of graphic detail for a rougelike. Text-character graphics can be abstract to the point where it's a barrier for a lot of people (myself included). But on the other hand, if there's too much detail, it can really subtract from what is a fundamentally imaginative experience. I think you've really found the sweet spot.

Wow I've never really liked the C64 colour palette but that mockup works beautifully.. I want to play! and those tiny icons.. that's a real craft in itself.

So Mr. or Mrs. Trihook: Are you making a game out of this? Are you sharing it for others to use (if so is there a license)? Are you tocky (really reminds me of his stuff)? Are you ever going to post again on this forum?

That's really clever to make the sprites all white and then color them later; I never thought of doing that to sort of force creativity with limits. Well done!

-No. -If you want to make a game out of the spritesheet, go ahead. Licencing is a tricky question, but if you're serious about making a game, contact me and I'll write you one. -No. -Yes

Wow, that looks really like c64. Sometimes I also do graphics this way. The last thing I use MS Paint for is to recolor a certain shade with eraser + right click... Nice!

I'd be very interested in using these for a school project (non-profit, non-distributed). Do you have any licenses for such a project?

These are really really good! Are you going to do more sprites/tiles & mockups for this set?
